Privacy
SGOAT is a game. It has no accounts and asks for nothing about you.
What’s stored on your device
Your game state and preferences (the daily result you’ve locked, sound on/off, this opt-out) live in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device and aren’t readable by us.
What’s sent to us
Anonymous product analytics, via PostHog (US region): page views and a small set of gameplay events — that a round started, a spin, a pick, a verdict and its score, a share, an app-install tap — plus basic performance timings.
- No name, email, account, or login. Nothing that identifies you.
- No screen or session recording, no click heatmaps, no cross-site or advertising trackers.
- Your IP address is used transiently by PostHog to derive a coarse region and is not stored against any profile — the app never calls PostHog’s
identify(). - The data is used only to see whether the game is fun and where people get stuck, and to tune the scoring. It is not sold or shared.
